Meet the Doctors – Broward Oral Surgery Associates
Dr. Laith Azzouni
Dr. Azzouni received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania (UPENN), School of Dental Medicine in 2004 where he graduated with honors. He is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) the national dental honor society.
Dr. Azzouni received his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Certificate from Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine (one of the largest Oral & Maxillofacial surgery training program in the US, renowned for its dental implants program) in New York, NY in 2008. After graduation he joined the staff at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA for one year, and then he moved to Boston and has been working in private practice and teaching at Tufts University since.
Dr. Azzouni is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Azzouni is an assistant clinical professor in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Tufts University School of dental medicine & teaches in both the predoctoral and postdoctoral programs.
Dr. Azzouni is an avid tennis player. He also enjoys playing squash, table tennis and running.
Dr. Perry Stuart Seider
Perry Stuart Seider grew up in the Bronx and Westchester Counties in New York. He graduated from Hunter College of the City University of New York in 1968 and went on to graduate from dental school at New York University in 1972 with honors. He served as an intern at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and then served his residency at Columbia University’s St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City for three years. Upon completion of the program in 1976, he moved to South Florida to start working in private practice. Four months after moving to Florida, he and his wife had the first of their three sons.
Dr. Seider has been active in the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and has served as President of the Miami Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has been a Clinical Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University School of Dentistry from its inception in 1997 until 2005. He is also past chief of Oral Surgery at Memorial Hospital West and Memorial Pembroke Hospitals. Dr. Seider is a member in good standing of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of American and Florida Dental Societies of Anesthesiology, the American Dental Association, the South Florida District Dental Society and the South Broward Dental Society.
In his leisure time, Dr. Seider is an avid cyclist, paddleball player, skier and most of all enjoys spending time with his family which now includes four grandchildren.
